As director of NIH, Bhattacharya will oversee 27 institutions. These institutions work to prepare vaccines and develop new medicines for epidemics.

Bhattacharya gave information about this by posting on X. Bhattacharya said –

I am honored to be chosen by President Donald Trump to be the director of. We will reform America's scientific institutions so they can be trusted again and better use science to make America healthy again.

Bhattacharya is a professor of health policy at Stanford University and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economics Research.

Bhattacharya will work with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Bhattacharya, 56, will work closely with Robert F Kennedy Jr. Trump appointed Kennedy Jr. as Health Minister a few .
