Today, a group of devotees left for Pakistan amid zero visibility to commemorate the 555th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This group will return to India after 10 days on 23 November. 763 devotees left amid the cheers of Satnam Waheguru.

763 devotees sent by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib Pakistan have received visas. Who were sent to Pakistan today. In this regard, the pilgrims were given their passports along with visas from the Shiromani Committee office yesterday.

Visa not given to 1481 passengers

Shiromani Committee Secretary Sardar Pratap Singh said that passports of 2244 pilgrims were sent to the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, out of which the embassy has issued visas to 763 pilgrims. He said that 1481 pilgrims were not given visas by the embassy. He said that the cancellation of visas of a large number of Sikh pilgrims is unfortunate.

He said that the group is being led by Shiromani Committee member Gurnam Singh Jasal, while the deputy leader of the group will be Shiromani Committee member Bibi Sharanjit Kaur and General Manager in-charge Palwinder Singh and Gurmeet Singh.

excitement of going for the first time

There are many devotees in the group who are going to visit Gurdwara Sahibs of Pakistan for the first time. Devotee Navjot Kaur, Sohan Singh from Mansa says that he is going with the first batch. He is very excited but also regrets that many of his colleagues could not get visas. He said that the government should remove the visa requirement for visiting Gurudwara Sahibs so that all the devotees can go for darshan.
