The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has clarified its stand regarding religious leader Chinmoy Krishna Prabhu Das. ISKCON issued a statement on social media on Friday night saying that Chinmoy Prabhu was not an official member of the organization, but they support his rights and freedom. The organization has not distanced itself from Chinmoy Prabhu and will not do so.

On this petition, Attorney General of Bangladesh Muhammad Asaduzzaman had described ISKCON as a religious fundamentalist organization.
