Actually, there was a sudden malfunction in the engine of Gulf Air flight on Sunday, after which the flight was diverted and made an emergency landing at Kuwait Airport. It took more than 24 hours to recover.

The Indian Embassy said that the hotels at the airport were not vacant due to the ongoing GCC Summit in Kuwait. Because of this, Indian passengers had to face problems.
At the same time, people holding British and American passports had transit visas so they were allowed to go out.
Transit visa is a short term visa. In this, permission is given to stay in a country for 2 to 3 days.

A senior official of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait later provided food to the passengers at the lodge. According to the Embassy, ​​the flight took off at around 4:30 in the morning. During this period, Indian officials were present there.
