Kedarnath Dham's doors will be closed tomorrow at 8:30 am: Special puja will be held, Baba's Panchmukhi Doli arrived, Gangotri Dham's doors closed – Dehradun News

On the occasion of closing of the doors of Kedarnath Dham, the temple has been decorated with 10 quintals of flowers.

The doors of Baba Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand will be closed for winter on 3rd November at 8:30 am. Before this there will be a special puja. Before closing the doors, the temple will be decorated with 10 quintals of flowers.

Baba Kedarnath will be worshiped for six months at the winter seat of Shri Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. The doors of Gangotri Dham were closed at 12.14 pm on Saturday afternoon.

The doors of Baba Kedarnath were opened on 10th May. Till November 1, 16 lakh 15 thousand 642 devotees visited Kedarnath Dham. More than 13 lakh devotees reached Badrinath Dham. Till Friday evening, 7.10 lakh devotees had reached Yamunotri Dham and 8.11 lakh devotees had reached Gangotri.

The Panchmukhi Utsav idol of Baba Kedarnath reached the temple premises on Friday itself.

On Saturday, the Panchmukhi idol of Baba Kedarnath was brought out of the store. The Panchmukhi Utsav idol was bathed by priest Shivshankar Linga. After which religious leader Aunkar Shukla, Vedpathi Swayambar Semwal performed the puja. After this the devotees had darshan of the Panchmukhi Utsav idol. After circumambulating the temple, the Panchmukhi Utsav idol of Lord Kedarnath, Doli, was installed in the temple premises.

Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay participated in the worship of the Panchmukhi Utsav idol. BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will be closed on the holy occasion of Bhaiya Dooj on Sunday. After this, the Panchmukhi Utsav idol of Baba Kedarnath, after traveling at various stops, will reach the winter seat of Shri Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath.

Kedarnath temple has been decorated with ten quintals of flowers for Kapat Bandi.

Gangotri Dham doors closed The process of closing the doors of Char Dham, Panch Badri and Panch Kedar Dhams located in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand started from Saturday. The doors of Gangotri Dham located in Uttarkashi district closed on November 2 at 12:14 pm.

On this occasion, Gangotri Dham echoed with the chants of Har Har Gange, Jai Maa Ganga. Accompanied by army bands and traditional musical instruments, the doli of Mother Ganga left for her winter abode Mukhba (Mukhimath). The winter stay for darshan of Mother Ganga will be in Mukhwa for 6 months.

Gangotri More than 8 lakh devotees reached the Dham Secretary of Gangotri Temple Committee, Suresh Semwal said that the Utsav Doli of Mother Ganga will stop at Markandeypuri Devi Temple for night rest. Bhajan Kirtan will be performed here throughout the night, the next day the Utsav Doli of Mother Ganga will remain in Mukhba village for winter.
