Fake doctors opened a hospital in Surat, Gujarat. Not only this, he printed the chief guest and top administrative and police officers as guests in the invitation card for the inauguration of the hospital but did not even ask these officers for the same. Lunch was held at the inauguration. The next day the state government sealed the hospital. The reason for sealing the hospital has been said to be that there is no system for fire safety here.
The name of the hospital is Janseva Multi Specialty Hospital. Police say that the degrees of two doctors, among the five co-founders of the hospital, are fake. Questions are also being raised about the degrees of the remaining three co-founders, and the police are investigating the matter. Police have arrested all the accused.
Case against doctors
The hospital was opened in Pandesara area of ​​Surat and was inaugurated on November 17. Senior police officer Vijay Singh Gurjar said, 'BR Shukla, who is described in the pamphlet of the inauguration program as a doctor with a degree in Ayurvedic medicine, has a case registered against him under the Gujarat Medical Practitioners Act and is a fake doctor.'
Gurjar said another co-founder, RK Dubey, who claims his degree is in electro-homeopathy, is being booked under the Medical Practitioners Act. Both of them have fake degrees. Another co-founder, GP Mishra, is facing three cases under the Prohibition Act. His degree has not been confirmed yet. We are also checking the degrees of the remaining two co-founders.
Apart from this, cases are registered against Ganga Prasad Mishra, who claims to be a BHMS doctor, in Navsari and Pandesara police.
Commissioner's name in invitation letter
The names of Surat Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shalini Agarwal, Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot and Joint Police Commissioner Raghavendra Vats are in the inauguration invitation letter of the hospital. These officials have said that they are not aware of any such invitation. None of these officers attended the inauguration program.
Hospital opened in place of theater
Earlier, there was a dilapidated theater at the place where the hospital was opened. It was demolished in 15 days and a multi-specialty hospital was built. No fire control system was installed in the hospital. The fire system was also switched off.
Hospital not registered
Before starting the hospital, the District Medical Officer was also not informed in writing nor was online registration done. But patients were also admitted here. Now as per rules a team will visit the hospital and punitive action will be taken. As per rules, FIR will also be lodged if there is no trained staff.
Self Pramod Tiwari, who has been claiming to be the owner of this hospital, has described himself as a retired sub inspector. Police are investigating when Tiwari retired. His son Dhaval has a medical shop. At present the health department is investigating.
Medicines are also kept inside the two-storey hospital. With the inauguration, patients have also come for treatment. The hospital has the facility to provide 24 hours emergency services. There is also an operation theater here.
The hospital had also admitted patients. Everyone was thrown out before sealing.
