Terrorists have killed 2 village defense guards in Adhwari area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. On receiving the information, police and army are conducting search operation in Munjala Dhar Forest.
According to PTI report, Ohli-Kuntwara village guards Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar went missing on Thursday morning when they had gone to graze their cattle. In the evening, Kuldeep Kumar's brother told that information about Kuldeep's death has been received.
The Kashmir Tigers group of Pakistan's terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has taken responsibility for the attack on the village defense guard. While sharing the pictures of dead bodies of VDG on social media, Kashmir Tigers wrote – All this will continue till the independence of Kashmir.
On the other hand, an encounter between terrorists and the army started in Sopore, Baramulla on Thursday night. Army's Chinar Corps informed on X that information was received about some terrorists hiding in Panipura area of Sopore, Baramulla. During the search operation, the terrorists opened fire, to which the army personnel also responded. At present firing is going on from both sides.
6 attacks in last 7 days In the beginning of November itself, 3 encounters had taken place between security forces and terrorists in Srinagar, Bandipora and Anantnag. In these, 4 soldiers were injured and 3 terrorists were killed. One of the terrorists killed on November 2 was identified as Zahid Rashid. The other one was Arbaaz Ahmed Mir. Both of them had received training from Pakistan.
The fourth encounter took place in Bandipora on 5 November. A terrorist was killed in this. After this, there have been 6 attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in a week including the encounter on 2 village defense guards and Sopore on 7th November.
On November 2, the army had killed top Lashkar commander Usman alias Chhota Waleed in Srinagar.
Helper of terrorists was also caught Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with 22RR and 92 battalions of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on November 5, also arrested an associate of the terrorists. He has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Wani, a resident of Tuzar Sharif in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. Police have recovered a pistol, seven live rounds and a magazine from his possession.
