Yamaha India Motor has launched a carbon fiber pattern edition of its most popular racing bike R15M. The bike with carbon fiber pattern is similar to the premium R15M carbon body work. The bike has carbon fiber pattern graphics and its price has been kept at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
The upgraded R15M in R15M Metallic Grey is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh. The new bike is available for sale at all Yamaha showrooms. Earlier, Yamaha showcased the carbon fiber pattern edition of the R15M at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024. Features like turn-by-turn navigation have been provided in the premium sports bike.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber : Design Talking about the design, the Yamaha R15M sports bike has been given a new front cowl, side fairing and new carbon fiber pattern on the flanks of the rear side panel. Yamaha has used water-dipping technology to improve the road presence of the new R15M. Apart from this, the Yamaha bike has been given an all-black fender, new decals on the tank and blue wheels and side fairing on both ends.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber: Features The new R15M is now equipped with a Y-Connect application. In this, you get the functions of riding, music and volume control. This app is now available on the Play Store. Apart from this, features like an advanced switchgear, new LCD license plate light, digital color TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity have been provided in the bike.
Yamaha R15M Carbon Fiber: Performance The company has not made any changes in the engine setup of the new Yamaha R15M. It has a 155cc litre fuel-injected engine, which generates 18.1hp of power and 14.2Nm of torque with a 6-speed transmission option. The bike has a dedicated traction control system.
This system reduces the possibility of wheel spin. The quick shifter facilitates smooth gear shifting without roll back on the throttle during manual clutch operation or upshifting. Apart from this, the assist and slipper clutch helps in reducing lever pulling.
