World's first CNG scooter introduced: Height adjustable electric bike for 3 year old children, Yamaha shows first AI bike

TVS Jupiter CNG

TVS Jupiter CNG Concept is the world's first CNG-powered scooter. It is based on the company's petrol scooter Jupiter 125 and has a 1.4 kg CNG tank under the seat, along with a 2-litre petrol tank. The company claims that this scooter has a range of 226km on filling both the tanks (CNG + Petrol) and its mileage in CNG mode is 84 km per kg. TVS Motor has not confirmed the launch date of this scooter.

Hero MotoCorp has showcased the Vida Akro. This is an electric off-road bike for kids. The Vida Acro looks like a typical dirt bike. Vida Akro is designed to be driven on specific tracks. It has a hub motor, which can take it up to a top speed of 25kmph. Three riding modes are provided to change the throttle response.

Vida Acro does not have a suspension system. It is a 'DIY modular platform', with an adjustable telescopic fork at the front. Similarly, the rear swing arm is also height adjustable. This allows the rider to adjust the height of the bike according to his height. Hero says that the Akro will be offered with a modular suspension kit and front brake. Its price can be around Rs 1 lakh and the bike can be launched by Diwali this year.

Yamaha Y/AI Motorcycle

Yamaha's Y/AI concept motorcycle is a mixup of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and futuristic design. The brand says that its design is inspired by YZR-M1 and it is an AI-powered future bike. The bike has also been featured in the 2024 science-fiction web series 'anime Tokyo Override'. The company currently has no plans to launch the bike. Through this, Yamaha has introduced future technology for its upcoming bikes.

TVS Vision iCube

TVS Vision iCube Concept is an electric scooter, which is equipped with a 3.4kWh battery and has a real range of 150 km. It has two removable range boosters, which increases its range by 40-50km. The futuristic design features a copper paint scheme, transparent head-up display, floating buttons, automatic height-adjustable seat and 14-inch wheels for comfort. TVS has not shared any launch timeline information about this scooter.

BMW F 450 GS

The BMW F 450 GS is an adventure touring concept bike with styling inspired by the larger BMW R 1300 GS. For performance, it has a 450cc twin-cylinder engine, which generates power of 48hp. It gets features like long-trail fully adjustable suspension at both ends and cornering ABS, traction control and a 6.5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. Its weight is 175kg. It is expected that BMW will also launch the production version of the bike this year.

TVS RTS-X

The TVS RTS-X concept is a supermoto bike built on the same chassis platform as the upcoming TVS RTX 300 adventure bike with the new RT-XD4 299cc engine. The engine produces 35hp power and 28.5Nm. For transmission, it has a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and bi-directional quickshifter. TVS claims that the bike can accelerate from 0-60kmph in just 2.8 seconds and 0-100kmph in just 6.3 seconds. The launch date of the bike has not been decided yet.

ampere jibber

Ampere introduces Zyber concept electric motorcycle. The company claims that this electric bike has a real world range of 200km on full charge. It has a 10kW electric motor for performance, whose top speed is 100kmph. The bike is powered by a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery and supports both AC and DC fast charging. Ampere EV has not yet confirmed the launch date of the motorcycle.
