Royal Enfield Bullet Battalion Black variant launched at ₹ 1.75 lakh: Bike gets handmade golden pinstripes on tank and single channel ABS, competes with Jawa 42

Royal Enfield today (September 19) launched the new Battalion Black colour variant of its most popular bike Bullet 350 in India. Its price has been kept at Rs 1,74,875 (ex-showroom). The new Classic 350 Battalion Black has been placed above the Military Black and Military Red colour variants and below the Military Silver Black and Military Silver Red colour variants.

The new Bullet 350 is built on the J-series platform, on which the company's other 350cc models such as Classic Reborn, Meteor and Hunter are available in the market. In India, the bike competes with bikes like Honda CB350 and Jawa 42.

The company launched the new generation Bullet 350 at an event held in Chennai in September 2023.

What's new in Royal Enfield Bullet 350? The Battalion Black colour variant features gold pinstripes on the fuel tank and side panels. These pinstripes are hand-painted. This cosmetic update makes the look of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 more attractive. The bike already has 6 other colour options – Military Red, Military Silver Red, Military Silver Black, Standard Black, Standard Maroon and Black Gold.

Apart from this, the bike has iconic silver, red and gold Royal Enfield badging on the fuel tank. The iconic Bullet 350 logo will also be found in the side panel. The bike has a new design tail section and a new scooping single-piece seat, in which the pillion seat is slightly higher. However, it comes with the same paint scheme as the standard-black color.

The new Battalion Black colour variant gets black mirrors, while the Standard-Black gets chrome mirrors. The Battalion Black variant gets a 300mm front disc brake and rear drum brake with single-channel ABS, while the Standard-Black and other higher models get disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS.

New-Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Design The new generation Bullet 350 has been given a new halogen headlight and taillight while retaining the old look. However, some changes are visible in the bike. This includes frame, engine, single piece seat design, rectangular side box and new handlebar.

Its rear fender has been made slightly shorter and the front fender has been made longer. The new Bullet features a matte and glass black fuel tank, a new copper and gold coloured 3D badge, crown insignia and copper pinstriping. Another major update is the peashooter exhaust muffler.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Comfort Features and Braking The bike has twin downtube frame telescopic forks in the front and twin rear shock absorbers for a comfortable ride. The bike gets 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, which have tubed tyres. These are thicker than the old tyres.
