Tech company Poco has launched 'Poco X7 Series' in India today (January 9). The company has included two smartphones in the Poco X7 series – Poco X7 5G and Poco X7 Pro 5G.
X7 Pro is the first phone in the world to have Dimension Hyper 8400 Ultra processor and Hyper OS 2.0 operating system. The company has provided a 50-megapixel AI camera and a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution in both the phones.
Poco X7 series: price and availability
The company has introduced both the smartphones in two variants each. The price of X7 starts at ₹24,999, while the price of X7 Pro starts at ₹31,999. In the launch offer, you can buy X7 for ₹ 19,999 and X7 Pro for ₹ 24,999.
The sale of Poco X7 Pro will start from January 14 and the sale of X7 will start from January 17 on Flipkart. Pre-booking of both the smartphones has been started. Buyers will get a discount of Rs 2,000 on ICICI Bank credit, debit card and EMI transactions. Apart from this, you can also avail exchange bonus up to Rs 2,000. Apart from this, first sale bonus of one thousand rupees will also be given.

Design:
The frame and back of both the phones are made of polycarbonate material. Matte finish has been given in the back.
Both phones will have dual SIM card tray, but there is no SD card slot. Their speakers are stereo and they support Dolby Atmos. Therefore the sound of the phone is quite clean and loud.
X7 is available in three color options – Silver, Enchanted Green and Black and Yellow Combination.
Nebula Green, Poco Yellow and Obsidian Black colors are available in X7 Pro.

Display:
Poco X7 has a 6.67-inch 1.5K 3D AMOLED curved display, but the X7 Pro has a flat display. The peak brightness of the X7 is 3000 nits and that of the Pro is 3200 nits.
Both the phones have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 layer protection for safety. The phone is Wet Touch 2.0 certified, which means touch works smoothly even when it gets wet in rain.
Camera:
Triple camera setup is available in X7 whereas dual camera setup is available in X7 Pro. Both the phones have a 50-megapixel AI camera and it comes with Sony's LYT-600 sensor. There is an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera lens for wide photos. A 2MP macro lens is also available in X7.
With the cameras of both the phones, you can shoot 4K video at 30FPS. At the same time, a 20-megapixel camera is provided in the front for selfie and video calling. With this you can also shoot videos at 30FPS.
Processor and OS:
MediaTek Dimension 7300 Ultra SoC processor is provided in X7. The smartphone works on Xiaomi's Hyper OS 2.0 operating system based on Android 14.
The most special chipset is in X7 Pro. For performance, it has been provided with MediaTek Dimension 8400 Ultra processor, which is made on 4 nanometer fabrications.
The company claims that this phone is the most powerful phone ever in its segment. Poco X7 Pro works with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 14.
The X7 Pro has an advanced cooling system, which the company has named Ultra-Thin 3D Iceloop System. It has a 5000mm² stainless steel vapor chamber. Due to which the phone remains cool while gaming and performs better.
Storage:
Both the phones have been launched in two variants each. The X7 has the option of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Whereas X7 Pro has the option of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.
Battery :
The X7 has a 5,500mAh battery for power backup. To charge it, a 45 watt turbo charger is available.
For power backup, the X7 Pro has a 6,550mAh battery. To charge it faster, 90 watt fast charging has been provided.
Other :
For connectivity, users get many features like Dual SIM 5G, 4GLTE, WIFI, Bluetooth 5.2.
Other features include options like X axis linear vibration motor, IP54 splash proof rating, in display fingerprint sensor, face unlock feature, IR blaster.
