Nexon will be the country's first CNG car with a turbo engine: Two gearbox options will also be available with twin cylinder technology, competing with Maruti Brezza

After launching the coupe style SUV Curve on September 2, Tata Motors is preparing to launch the CNG version of its most popular car Nexon. According to media reports, this will be the country's first CNG car that will have the option of a turbo engine.

Apart from this, the SUV will get the option of two gearboxes with twin cylinder technology. Tata launched the facelift version of Nexon in September last year, after which the concept model of its CNG version was introduced at the India Mobility Show held in Delhi this year.

Tata Nexon price starts at Rs 8.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.74 lakh for the top variant (all prices ex-showroom). The CNG variant is expected to be priced Rs 70,000 to Rs 80,000 more than the standard variant. It will compete directly with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG.
