Government can also withdraw PM housing subsidy: Ola will give option of bank account or coupon for refund, value of TCS reduced by ₹ 35,638 crore

Yesterday's big news was related to cab service providing company Ola Cabs. The government has asked the company to give customers the option to choose between bank account and coupon while giving refund.

The market cap of tech company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) fell by Rs 35,638 crore to Rs 15.02 lakh crore after last one week's trading.

The next news was related to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In this, eligible persons get concession on home loan through CLSS. But many people do not know that the government can withdraw the subsidy if some conditions of the scheme are violated.

There may be a decline in the stock market today (Monday). Reliance Industries will release the results of the second quarter. There is no change in the prices of petrol and diesel.

1. Market-cap of TCS fell by ₹ 35,638 crore: Value of 7 out of top-10 companies decreased by ₹ 1.22 lakh crore last week.

In terms of market capitalization, the value of 7 out of the top 10 companies of the country has combined reduced by Rs 1,22,107.11 crore last week. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was the top loser during this period. During the week's trading, the market cap of the company has decreased by Rs 35,638 crore to Rs 15.02 lakh crore.

Apart from TCS, Reliance Industries was the second big loser. The market cap of the company has fallen by Rs 21,351.71 crore to Rs 18.55 lakh crore in a week. Apart from these, the market cap of ITC, Hindustan Unilever, LIC, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank has also decreased.

2. Ola will give refund option to customers: The customer will choose whether he wants refund in cash or coupon, more than 2000 complaints were received against the company this year.

Cab service providing company Ola Cabs will now have to give the consumer the option to choose between bank account or coupon while giving refund.

Currently, if any customer complains for a refund on the Ola app, the company gives him a coupon as a refund, which he can use only for the next ride on the Ola app.
