World Chess Championship-Gukesh and Liren played fourth consecutive draw: both got 3.5-3.5 points; The first person to reach 7.5 points will become the world champion.

After 72 moves, Gukesh was leading by one pawn. After this drawn game both the players have equal 3.5-3.5 points. The first player to score 7.5 points in a match of 14 games will win the match and will be called the world champion.

Gukesh was ahead in terms of time and position During the game, Gukesh had a huge lead in terms of time and position. At one point it seemed that Liren would again lose the game on the basis of time. But he had to make 15 moves in 16 minutes. In the 40th move, he had only 7 seconds left to avoid defeat.

At one time even Gukesh was trapped under the pressure of time. He made his 56th move when only 2 seconds were left on the clock. Gukesh had a lead of one foot till the end, but he could not take advantage of it.

The fight lasted for 5 hours 20 minutes The 7th match lasted for 5 hours and 20 minutes. The last match lasted for more than four hours. This was the longest game of the final so far.

Gukesh and Liren's sixth match was a draw

The sixth match of the FIDE World Chess Championship final being played in Singapore between Indian Grand Master D Gukesh and World Champion Ding Liren ended in a draw. Both have played their third consecutive drawn match. Earlier, the fourth and fifth matches also ended in a draw.
