Pakistan needs 178 runs to win Multan Test: Only 6 wickets left against West Indies, Saud Shakeel returned not out

Pakistan won the first test.

The second match of the Test series is being played between Pakistan and West Indies in Multan. At stumps on the second day, Pakistan lost 4 wickets for 76 runs in its second innings. The team needs 178 more runs, while West Indies needs 6 wickets to win the match.

West Indies scored 163 runs in the first innings and 244 runs in the second innings. Whereas Pakistan could score only 154 runs in the first innings. With a lead of 9 runs in the first innings, West Indies gave Pakistan a target of 254 runs.

Both teams all out on the first day On the first day of the match, West Indies won the toss and chose to bat. The team scored 163 runs. Left arm spinner Noman Ali from Pakistan took 6 wickets including a hat-trick. West Indies had lost 8 wickets for 54 runs. From here Gudakesh Moti scored 55 runs, he made partnerships of 41 runs with Kemar Roach and 68 runs with Jomel Warrican.

Sajid Khan and Noman Oli took 4-4 wickets from Pakistan. Kashif Ali and Abrar Ahmed got 1-1 success.

Captain Kraigg Brathwaite scored 52 runs in the second innings.

Pakistan fell apart in the second innings Pakistan got the target of 254 runs from West Indies. Captain Shan Masood and Muhammad Huraira were out after scoring 2 runs each. Babar Azam scored 31 runs, while Kamran Ghulam returned to the pavilion after scoring 19 runs. By the end of the day's play, the team had scored 76 runs after losing 4 wickets.

Saud Shakeel remained not out scoring 13 runs and Kashif Ali scoring 1 run. Kevin Sinclair has taken 2 wickets from West Indies. Gudakesh Moti and Jomel Warrican took 1-1 wicket. The third day's play will start at 10 am Indian time.

Pakistan had lost 2 wickets at the score of 5 runs.
