Josh Hazlewood will return in Brisbane Test: Scott will replace Boland, captain Pat Cummins said – Josh is back

Josh Hazlewood took 5 wickets in the Perth Test. He could not play the Adelaide Test due to injury.

Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is completely fit. He will participate with the Australian team in the third match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Hazlewood will replace Scott Boland in the Brisbane Test.

Captain Pat Cummins himself confirmed this on Thursday. The Australian captain said on Friday- 'Josh is back. He didn't have any problem. He bowled very well yesterday (Thursday). He and the medical team are very confident.

Regarding Boland, Cummins said that he was a bit unfortunate that despite taking 5 wickets in the Adelaide Test, he had to lose his place. The third match of the India-Australia Test series is starting from Saturday 14 December in Brisbane.

Injured Hazlewood could not play Adelaide Test Josh Hazlewood was not a part of the Australian team in the day-night Test played in Adelaide due to injury. He had low grade left side injury (pain in lower abdomen). Fast bowler Scott Boland was given a chance in place of Josh. Boland took 5 wickets in the pink ball test. He took 2 wickets in the first innings and 3 wickets in the second innings. Hazlewood took 5 wickets in the Perth Test.

Series tied at one each The 5-match test series is tied at one each. The Indian team won the Perth Test against Australia by 295 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the series. Australia then made a comeback in the series by winning the Adelaide Test by 10 wickets.
