India has won the Women's Under-19 Asia Cup title. This is the first edition of the Women's Under-19 Asia Cup. The team defeated Bangladesh Under-19 by 41 runs in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 22 December.
Bangladesh captain Sumaiya Akhtar won the toss and decided to bowl first. India scored 117 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Bangladesh's wickets kept falling at regular intervals. The team was all out for 76 runs in 18.3 overs. Gongadi Trisha, who scored a half-century for India, was chosen as the player of the match.
