Kulgam's 15-year-old Shariq Yasir is the youngest player to play in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) season-2. In the auction for the second season, Shariq was bought by Akshay Kumar's team 'Srinagar's Veer' for Rs 3 lakh. 96 players from 6 teams are participating in ISPL season-2. There are 16 players in a team.
During the league, Shariq said about his cricketing journey, I have always got the support of my family. My father always said that you play cricket, the whole family is with you. Papa says, if you do not play with leather ball, then do you do good in tennis ball cricket.
Shariq was bought by 'Veer' team of Srinagar for ISPL season-2 for Rs 3 lakh.

The final match will be played on 15 February The league will have 34 matches in 21 days. The second season of the tournament started from 26 January and the final match will be played on 15 February. All matches will be played at Dadoji Konddev Stadium in Thane, Mumbai.
Tournament format Each team will face the other five teams twice in the league stage. After that there will be a playoff. This includes qualifier, eliminator 1, eliminator 2 and finals.
