1. Approval to continue the National Health Mission for the next 5 years
The Union Cabinet on January 22 approved the continuation of the National Health Mission for the next 5 years. National Health Mission (NHM) was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the government in the year 2013. It was brought by combining the National Rural Health Mission and the National Urban Health Mission.
