1. Supreme Court gave 15 instructions on bulldozer action While giving its verdict on the bulldozer action on November 13, the Supreme Court issued 15 guidelines. The court said that if the decision to demolish the house has been taken, then 15 days' time should be given. Videography of the house demolition action is necessary. If any officer violates the guidelines, he will get the property rebuilt at his own expense and will also pay compensation. The bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice KV Vishwanathan gave its verdict on the bulldozer action.
After continuous bulldozer action in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind had filed a petition in the Supreme Court.
2. British writer Samantha Harvey wins Booker Prize for Fiction for 'Orbital' On November 12, British writer Samantha Harvey won the Booker Prize for Fiction for 'Orbital'. Orbital is a short but wonderful novel set on the International Space Station. This is the best selling book in the UK. Samantha Harvey is the first woman to win this award since 2019. This novel is about 6 astronauts who are orbiting the Earth. All of them, caught in each other's company, go through the cycle of 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets and become mesmerized by the beauty of the earth.
Harvey was declared the winner at a ceremony held at Old Billingsgate, London. As a prize, he received a cash amount of 50,000 pounds i.e. approximately Rs 53.7 lakh and a trophy.

1. Students' protests continue for the third day in UP Today is the third day of student demonstration in Uttar Pradesh. Students are continuously demanding to conduct UPPCS and RO ARO exams in one shift and remove normalization.
After spending the night on the streets, the students started the day with the national anthem Jana-Gan-Mana. Meanwhile, students are adopting very unique methods for this peaceful demonstration. On the lines of the film Stree, a student was seen protesting wearing a saree and holding a candle in his hand. A girl stood on the highway and started demanding removal of normalization in the style of memes. Many students raised slogans of 'Na batenge, na hatenge, joinge aur jeetenge', while some students demonstrated with the rate list. One student even raised the question by making a poster that the country has reached the moon but is not able to conduct the exam in one shift.
Meanwhile, there is anger among the students due to Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission i.e. UPPSC Chairman Sanjay Srinet not appearing before them. Sometimes students are raising slogans against him and sometimes posters of his disappearance are waving in the air. Students say where is the Chairman missing and why can't he come among the students and listen to them?
2. Schedule of nursery admission released in private schools of Delhi. The admission schedule for nursery class for the academic year 2024-25 has been released in private schools of Delhi. The admission process will start on 28th November. For this, parents will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 25. Admission forms can be submitted to schools till 20th December. The first list of selected children will be released on 17 January 2025. This entire admission process will continue till March 14, 2025.
3. Central government issued guidelines for advertisement of coaching centers The Central Government has issued guidelines for misleading advertisements of coaching institutes. Under this, coaching centers will not be able to promise 100% selection and 100% jobs. Along with this, coaching centers cannot make false claims regarding courses, fees, faculty, refund policy, selection rate and exam ranking. These guidelines have been issued by the Central Consumer Protection Authority i.e. CCPA after receiving numerous complaints.
