1. Justice Manmohan became Supreme Court judge

CJI Sanjiv Khanna administered the oath of office to Justice Manmohan as a Supreme Court judge on 5 December. Earlier he was the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court. After Justice Manmohan takes oath, the number of judges in the Supreme Court has increased to 33. The total number of judges approved in the Supreme Court is 34. The collegium had recommended the name of Justice Manmohan on November 28.

On December 3, the Central Government had approved the appointment of Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Justice Manmohan as a judge of the Supreme Court.

2. Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk arrived in India on a two-day visit.

Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck arrived in India on December 5 on a two-day visit. He was also accompanied by Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuk and senior officials. On reaching New Delhi, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar welcomed him.

1. Recruitment for 107 posts in Supreme Court

Recruitment notification has been issued for 107 posts including PA, Senior PA and Court Master in the Supreme Court. Candidates can visit the official website sci.gov.in. You can apply by going to.

Educational Qualification:

18 – 35 years: Relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per government rules.

There is recruitment for the posts of Officer Trainee (Through UGC NET Dec 2024) in Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). Candidates can apply by visiting the official Website webapps.powergrid.in.

Must have valid scorecard of UGC NET December 2024 exam. Must have post graduation degree/ diploma in relevant field/ degree in mass communication/ diploma/ MBA in HR.

Maximum age 28 years, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation as per rules.

1. Apply soon for free coaching of Civil Services in BHU

The online application process is going on for the new batch of free coaching for Civil Services Exam in BHU. Its last date is 20th December.

This is the scheme of Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence i.e. DACE. For this, those SC and OBC students are eligible whose family annual income is Rs 8 lakh or less. In this, 100 students will be made to prepare for recruitment exams for one year. Candidates who have availed the scheme twice cannot apply for it. Candidates taking DACE-BHU Civil Services coaching cannot do any other academic course. 30% seats in all categories under this scheme are reserved for women.

2. Apply for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship by 23rd December

23rd December is the last date for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024. Students can apply for this by visiting cbse.gov.in directly. For this, girl students of CBSE board who have passed 10th with 70% marks are eligible.

3. 15 thousand new home guards will be recruited in Delhi.

Soon 15 thousand new Home Guard soldiers will be recruited in Delhi Government. With this the number of home guards in Delhi will increase to 25 thousand. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena also made this announcement while distributing enrollment letters to 1669 new Home Guards.
