1. PM Modi received 'World Peace Award' in America Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the World Peace Prize in the US in his absence on November 22. Washington Adventist University and the Association of Indian American Minorities (AIAM) jointly honored him with 'Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. awarded the World Peace Prize. This award has been given to Prime Minister Modi for his efforts for peace in the society and protecting the interests of minorities.
AIAM, which honors PM Modi, is a non-governmental organization that aims to foster unity among the Indian American diaspora in the US.
2. Zomato will join BSE Sensex
Online food delivery company Zomato will be included in the BSE Sensex stocks on December 23. Zomato will replace JSW Steel among 30 Sensex stocks. Zomato's IPO came in July 2021. The stock has given multibagger returns to its shareholders since its listing on the stock exchange. Zomato's IPO came at an issue price of Rs 76 and the stock closed at Rs 264.20 on Friday, November 22, 2024.
BSE subsidiary Asia Index Private Limited announced the restructuring of BSE indices, in which it has been decided to include Zomato in BSE Sensex 30 and BSE Sensex 50.

1. CAT 2024 exam tomorrow
CAT 2024 exam is tomorrow i.e. on 24th November. This 2-hour exam will be held in three shifts. This year this exam is being conducted by IIM Kolkata, its admit cards have already been released on iimcat.ac.in.
Candidates going to appear for the exam should not forget to take the printout of the admit card, passport size photograph and an original ID proof with them. At the same time, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, watches, metal jewellery, clothes with big buttons and shoes with thick soles are not allowed in the exam hall. Pen and scribble pad will be given to the candidates at the examination centre.
2. Application started for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship
The online application process for 'Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme' of Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has started. This scheme is for those girl students who have passed 10th from CBSE in 2024 and are currently studying in 11th. The last date to apply is 23 December.
The girl students selected under this scholarship will get financial assistance of ₹ 500 per month. To apply for this, the student must be an only child and must have obtained at least 60% marks in CBSE class 10th. Along with this, the student should be studying in class 11th or 12th in any school of CBSE board.
