FIITJEE coaching centers closed in 5 states of the country: Locked before parents could reach; Had collected advance fees of Rs 2-3 lakh

FIITJEE centers have been suddenly closed in 5 states of the country including Delhi-NCR. The difficulties of hundreds of students studying in the coaching center and their parents have increased.

FIITJEE is a well-known institute in the country for preparation of competitive exams like Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE). In the cities where these centers have been closed, the operators had fled before the parents could reach them. In many centres, teachers had resigned en masse in the last 15 days.

Coaching stopped in West UP after charging full year's fees

These include cities like three centers of West UP (Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut), Varanasi, Lucknow and Patna. FIITJEE center in Bhopal Madhya Pradesh was closed in the second week of December last year.

Since then, there have been continuous reports of closure of FIITJEE centers in different states. Where without any prior notice the center was suddenly locked and the operators ran away with the advance fees of the entire year of the students.

Center with more than 300 students closed in Maharashtra

Centers in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad in Maharashtra were also closed in July 2024. In this, center head Rajesh Karna had told in an unofficial meeting that the coaching center does not have money to pay salaries to the staff and even pay the rent of the centre. More than 300 children studied in these two centres.

FIR lodged in Delhi

Parents in Delhi whose children are studying in this institute have lodged an FIR against it. According to this FIR, parents say that due to the sudden closure of the institute, their children's education has been put in danger. In this, it has been alleged in many centers that teachers of coaching centers have not been paid salaries.

Center closed in Bhopal in December itself

On December 16, more than 25 students and parents of FIITJEE Coaching created a ruckus. Complaint was lodged in MP Nagar police station. He had made allegations against the coaching operator of embezzling fee money. There was also a demand for refund of the fees deposited as advance. After this the police called the coaching staff to present their side. An FIR was registered against 4 people including the director of FIITJEE Coaching under various sections including fraud in MP Nagar police station of Bhopal.

Students had paid advance fees in Patna's Kankarbagh

Similarly, FIITJEE coaching center in Kankarbagh police station area of ​​Patna was suddenly closed without informing the students. Due to which about 200 students preparing for JEE Mains are worried. Many children had deposited Rs 3 to 4 lakh at the time of admission.

About 700 students are admitted in the Bhopal branch of Delhi's FITJEE coaching. Fees ranging from Rs 1.5 to Rs 3 lakh are charged per student. On the other hand, this matter has also reached Bhopal Collector. Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh said that action will be taken against the coaching centre. Will try to get the children's fees refunded.

FIITJEE merged with another coaching center

According to media reports, on Wednesday, January 22, a mail was sent from Delhi FITJEE Coaching Center to students and their parents. It was written in it that now this institute has been merged with some other coaching center and your child can easily continue his further studies there.

There was a FITJEE center in Mahmoorganj, Varanasi, which was taken over by Aakash on January 10. A letter has also been issued in which parents have also been asked to cooperate. There has been no information about any protest from here yet.

Parents whose children are studying in this institute in Delhi Sector 62 have lodged an FIR against it. According to this FIR, parents say that due to the sudden closure of the institute, their children's education is in danger. In this, it has been alleged in many centers that teachers of coaching centers have not been paid salaries.

Advance fees of 95% students are with the coaching center.

On January 21, parents in Meerut had also complained about this. Parents said that FITJEE has suddenly shut down the center without any prior information. Due to this, students' education is stuck in limbo. The institute suddenly closed the center after taking two years of advance fees.

Parents told that 95 percent of the students' advance fees have been deposited. Whereas the course has been completed only till 40 percent. 400 students were studying in Meerut, 2000 students in Noida, 700 students in Bhopal, 200 students in Patna.

FITJEE was started in 1992 by DK Goyal, an alumnus of IIT Delhi. This institute was famous for preparation for engineering and science examinations.
