Students will now be able to appear for JEE Advanced exam not twice but thrice. According to the new guidelines of NTA, candidates will now have a maximum of three attempts, which they can give continuously.
Apart from this, it has been said in the guidelines that only students born on or after October 1, 2000 can give JEE Advanced this time. However, age relaxation of 5 years is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates i.e. candidates born on or after October 1, 1995.
It has also been said in the notification that till now the top 2.5 lakh students who qualified JEE Mains were eligible for JEE Advanced. But this time this number can be increased.
