The success of the film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has given a new identity to Rashmika Mandanna. While the film's figures are creating new records at the box office, Rashmika sees it as a responsibility. Let us tell you, the film has crossed the figure of Rs 1500 crore till now.
Recently, in an interview given to Dainik Global News Daily, Rashmika spoke openly about the success of the film, her performance and her growth in the industry.
It was certain that the film would prove to be a hit; The results surprised everyone
Rashmika and the entire team had worked very hard for 'Pushpa 2'. Talking about this, Rashmika said, 'Nothing separate had to be done for Part 2 of the film. We knew what this world was like, how the characters talked and their movements were a little different. We always knew all this. The challenge was just that: to make it better than Part 1. It had to be made more raw and bigger. We always wanted to make the film big and that's what we delivered.
To be honest, we were sure that the audience would like this film, but we had no idea that it would be so big. Every time we used to say that we believe in our craft and it will be big. It was sure that the film would prove to be a hit, but the results surprised everyone. It's like, 'What is happening?' We are very grateful to our fans and audience.
The success of the film is a responsibility
Rashmika said, 'The success of Pushpa 2 has taken me to a new level. The success of the film has now become my responsibility. I have received so much love from the audience, it is magical. Now I have to further improve my performance and make the characters more interesting. However, it is not a burden. Burden is a negative word. I see this as a challenge and am enjoying this phase. It is a good responsibility.
I have grown a lot as an actor
Talking about her journey in the industry, Rashmika credited her experience for the improvement in her performance. He said, 'After Pushpa 2, I received many compliments, but the best compliment I received is that my performance has improved. Today, getting a chance to dance or perform with big stars like Allu Arjun sir, Ranbir Kapoor, Vijay Deverakonda, Salman Khan sir and Vicky Kaushal is very special for me. I feel that I have grown a lot as an actor.
I did not come from a film background nor did I do theatre.
She further said, 'I never came from a film background nor did I do theatre. For me, the entire acting experience happened on the sets only. My career has been my training. Today when people whistle and cheer for me and that too when there is no high background music or elevating elements in the scene, it is because of my performance. It feels like a victory. This is a happy moment for me.
