The Roshans, a documentary series based on the life of the Roshan family, is going to be released on Netflix on January 17. Before the release of the series, a video of Rakesh Roshan from the series has surfaced, in which he shared the incident when his father-in-law wanted Hrithik Roshan to work in the film Koyla. However, Rakesh Roshan had denied this citing Hrithik's silence.
In the video shared on Netflix India's YouTube channel, Hrithik Roshan is seen watching the family album with his father Rakesh Roshan and uncle Rajesh Roshan. While turning the pages, Rakesh Roshan tells a story related to each picture.
He showed a picture from the sets of the film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, in which choreographer Farah Khan is seen looking at Hrithik Roshan's biceps. On the picture, Rakesh Roshan said that I was explaining the scene to Farah and she was looking at his biceps.
Further he showed a picture of Hrithik from those days when he was an assistant director in Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer film Koyla.
In the picture that surfaced, Hrithik is seen sitting with his father. On seeing this picture, Rakesh Roshan said, my father-in-law Om ji had told me to take this in the film, I said – Daddy where will this work, bolta toh hai nahi kuch. Remains silent. In response, Rakesh Roshan's father-in-law had said – Take it, he lives quietly with you, talks with me.
In the video, Rakesh Roshan has further told that when Hrithik Roshan gave the first shot for the film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai Ki, he was surprised to see his acting.
