Indian film with the biggest opening
Allu Arjun starrer film Pushpa 2 has also got a big opening in Hindi, the film has left behind the films of the biggest actors of the Hindi film industry. Pushpa 2 has become the biggest opening Indian film not only in the Hindi industry but also at the world wide box office. Till now no Indian film has had such a big opening. The film has broken the record of SS Rajamouli's film RRR in terms of opening.

Rajamouli's RRR was on top among the films having the biggest opening till now. This film had an opening of Rs 156 crores. At the same time, Pushpa-2 has earned around Rs 200 crore on the first day. Pushpa-2 is the first film, which has got the biggest overseas opening in the year 2024. The film has also left behind Prabhas's film Kalki 2898 AD in terms of overseas opening.
The film is released in theaters on 5 December. According to trade reports, the film has collected in the range of Rs 66 crore to Rs 68 crore on the first day in Hindi version.

Record of Shahrukh's film Jawan broken
Pushpa-2 has also broken the record of Shahrukh Khan's film Jawan in Hindi version. Jawan had collected around Rs 65 crore on the first day. The record for the biggest opening collection in Hindi till now was of the film Jawan. Now among the highest collection movies, Pushpa-2 is on top, Jawan is on second place, Stree-2 is on third place, Pathan is on fourth place and the film Animal is on fifth place.
Record broken in first advance booking also
According to Sacknilk, more than 3 lakh tickets of 'Pushpa 2' were sold in the first 24 hours of advance booking. The film had made an advance collection of Rs 10 crore on the first day in India. At the same time, this figure with block seats was around Rs 12 crore. The film had overtaken Shahrukh Khan's Pathan in pre-sales. Less than 2 lakh tickets of the film Pathan were sold on the first day in January 2023. Before Pushpa-2, the film Pathan was leading in advance bookings.

More tickets were sold in the Hindi-dubbed version of KGF 2
Even in the Hindi-dubbed version, Pushpa 2 had overtaken KGF- 2. KGF- 2 sold 1.25 lakh tickets in Hindi-dubbed version on the first day in 2022. At the same time, 1.8 lakh tickets of Pushpa 2 were sold in Hindi till noon on 1st December.

Sukumar has done both the writing and direction of the film. Sukumar has got the best work possible from Allu Arjun. Rather, more has been taken out.
The story is absolutely fresh and also interestingly crafted. The action scenes are amazing. Dialogues are also well written. However, some shortcomings remain. In the end the film dragged unnecessarily. Could have easily trimmed 20 to 25 minutes. Sukumar missed a bit this time in making the film crisp.
