He told the jail authorities that Renukaswamy comes in his dreams. According to media reports, Darshan was heard screaming and crying while sleeping in the early hours of the morning.

Darshan says he is alone in his cell and is unable to sleep due to fear. This is having a deep impact on his mental condition.

According to a recent Pinkvilla report, Darshan Thoogudeepa's bail petition was heard in the 57th Additional City Civil and Sessions Court. Darshan's lawyer Sunil Kumar has sought time from the court to present his arguments. He has told the court that a senior lawyer of Darshan's legal team could not come to the court due to personal reasons.

The hearing of the bail plea of ​​actress Pavitra Gowda and others, accused in the Renukaswamy murder case including Darshan, was also postponed.

On June 9, the body of 33-year-old Renukaswami was found near an apartment in Bengaluru's Kamakshipalya area. When the police investigated the area around the crime scene, they saw Darshan and Pavitra leaving the crime scene in the CCTV footage. From 11 pm to 3 am, both their mobile numbers were active in the same area. After this, Darshan and Pavitra were arrested on June 11.

Why was Renukaswami murdered?

Actually, deceased Renukaswamy was a fan of Darshan Thoogudeepa. In January 2024, Kannada actress Pavitra Gowda celebrated her 10th anniversary with Darshan. Darshan was already married, due to which his relationship with actress Pavitra Gowda had come into controversy.

Renukaswamy, who considered Darshan an idol, was very angry with this news. He was continuously sending messages to Pavitra and threatening her, asking her to stay away from Darshan. Initially Pavitra ignored his messages, but later Renukaswamy started sending objectionable messages and threatening her. When Pavitra complained about this to Darshan, Darshan, with the help of his associates, called Renukaswamy to a godown, where he was tortured and murdered. According to the confession of the accused, after the murder, the clothes of Darshan's companions were stained with blood. He went to the nearby Reliance store and bought new clothes and changed there. 19 people including Darshan and Pavitra are behind bars in this case.
