Recently, in Shubhankar Mishra's podcast, Kangana Ranaut was asked a question on Sonu Sood. He was told that some time ago Sonu had said that Kangana was his friend, but they had not spoken for 5 years. On this, Kangana said, it is not necessary that we become friends with those we meet. It is not necessary, isn't it? How many friends can we make? I feel that some people are angry with me and they should remain angry.

Let us tell you that Sonu Sood was in the role of Sadashiv Rao in the film Manikarnika. Initially the director of this film was Krish. He shot most of the film, although he later got busy with another film. After his departure, Kangana Ranaut decided to direct the film Manikarnika herself.

During the shooting, Sonu Sood was not happy with Kangana's direction. In an interview, Sonu Sood had told that Kangana had got all his scenes removed as per the script. When he talked to Kangana about this, both of them got into an argument. After the rift, Sonu Sood left the film. Later Zeeshan Ayyub was cast in his place.

Sonu Sood had told that he had given 4 months for the shooting of this film. At the same time, he had also rejected offers from many other films for this film.

Kangana Ranaut also took a dig at award shows in the podcast. She was asked whether she does not go to award shows because now she has stopped getting awards. On this the actress said, I got the award for Queen and Tanu Weds Manu even though I did not go to the award. I was also nominated for Thalaivi, but I myself called and asked to remove my name from the nomination. I sent a notice and got my name removed. I don't entertain such people. Are idiots. Nothing is real.
