I had a panic attack before shooting my debut film: Alia Bhatt said- father Mahesh Bhatt explained a lot to me, then I got courage

Alia Bhatt is in the news for her upcoming film 'Jigra'. Meanwhile, in an interview, Alia told how her father Mahesh Bhatt helped her in the beginning of her career. Actually, Alia had a panic attack a day before the shooting of the film 'Student of the Year' started. Then Mahesh Bhatt taught her to deal with such situations.

In an interview given to India Today, Alia Bhatt said, 'I had a panic attack a day before the shooting of the film Student of the Year. I was trembling while crying. Somehow I called my father. He called me to his office. I thought he would hug me. But he made me stand in a room among eight people and started saying, tell me now how are you feeling. What are you feeling?'

Alia said, 'At first I thought what is this. Why did they do this? But then I started feeling good. The special thing was that Emraan Hashmi was also present there at that time. He said that Alia, you will feel like this before every film and shot.'

Alia further said, 'My father is not a normal father. He does not protect me during failure, but advises me to face it. He says that one should never get angry after failing. If you do not fail, I will get angry with you, because you learn a lot from failing in life.'
