Actor Govinda was shot in the leg on Tuesday morning. After which he was admitted to the hospital. Govinda has been discharged after spending 3 days in the hospital under the supervision of doctors. During this time, his family was also seen along with the actor. He will remain on bed rest for 6 weeks.

While talking to the media, Sunita Ahuja said, 'Sir is absolutely wonderful. They will be discharged between 12:30-1 pm. I will bring them. He will not be able to stand due to the bullet injury in his leg, but after sitting in the car, I will get him to talk to you (paparazzi).

On the morning of October 1, Govinda was alone in his house when the revolver he was carrying misfired and the bullet hit his leg. After this he was admitted to Kriti Care Hospital in Mumbai, where after surgery the bullet was removed from the actor's leg. When this accident happened, his wife Sunita Ahuja was in Jaipur. She returned to Mumbai after hearing the news.
According to Dainik Global News Daily sources, Govinda was to leave for Kolkata for a program on October 1 by a 6 am flight. However, at 5 in the morning the revolver fell while being kept in the cupboard and misfired. Govinda was shot just below his knee.
Sunita's manager Saurabh Prajapati from Rajasthan said that she had come on September 29 to have darshan of Khatushyam Baba. Visited the temple on 30th September at around 4.30 pm. The plan was to return to Mumbai at 2 pm on 1st October. She got information about the incident around 5 am on Tuesday morning, after which she returned.
