Bollywood actor Govinda has been injured by a bullet in his leg. He was shot by his own pistol. The incident occurred around 4.45 am on Tuesday morning.
According to sources close to Dainik Global News Daily, 60 year old actor Govinda was shot due to miss firing while cleaning his revolver. Mumbai Police reached the spot and seized his revolver and started investigating the matter. Senior police officer Paramjeet Singh Dahiya has said that the gun from which the bullet was fired is a licensed gun.
Admitted to Kriti Care Hospital, Mumbai.
Due to the bullet injury, a lot of blood had flowed from his leg, due to which his condition had become critical. At present he has been admitted to Kriti Care Hospital, Andheri for treatment. According to sources related to the hospital, after initial treatment, Govinda is now out of danger. His wife Sunita is currently present with him in the hospital.
Govinda, who was a part of films like Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, Raja Babu, Chhote Sarkar, Had Kar Di Aapne, has been away from films for the last 5 years. His last release film is 2019's Rangeela Raja.
