Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde starrer film Deva is scheduled to release on 31 January. A few days before the release, the Censor Board has objected to a scene of the film. Also, the censor board has demanded a change in several scenes.
According to reports by e-time, the Central Board of Film Certification has asked the makers of the film Deva to remove the scene of the film, which has a long lip lock of Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde. The board has suggested to do it in 6 seconds. Apart from this scene, the makers have also demanded the removal of wrong and porn gestures made by actors.
Some scenes were also used abusive, but the board has demanded changes in them. Apart from the scene, the makers will also have to change the subtitles. The makers are freedom that they will change the scene or remove it.
Censor board sought cleaning from makers
In a scene of the film, Mumbai Fort Area has been named Hutatma Chowk. The censor board has asked the reason for this change. After all these suggestions, the Central Board of Film Certification has given the film a certificate.
After the change in the scene and some scenes have been removed, now the run time of the film has been 2 hours 36 minutes and 59 seconds.
Prior to the film Deva, the censor board scissors were also played on Shahid Kapoor's films Udta Punjab, Teri Baatha, Kabir Singh, Padmavat. While 40 changes were made in Udta Punjab, the scene was removed in the film Teri Baatha with such an entangled with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Shahid and Kiara Advani starrer film Kabir Singh also received an adult certificate.
