I am a fast bowler, I don't like my balls being beaten. When he was young, he was angry and tried to throw the ball very fast. Doing this never proved right for me because I used to lose my line and length. This did not help the team. Then I understood that it is not necessary to be angry. Asked myself, how can I use this to my advantage? When does my best performance come, what is my mindset at that time? Then I started living peacefully and comfortably. There is definitely that competitive feeling, the urge to win never goes away. You don't come on the field just to play. There is a feeling of winning, but you have to find your way. Staying calm works for me. There are many players who are aggressive, maybe it works for them to be like that. There have been many great bowlers who never said anything to anyone on the field but their actions spoke. I have never heard of batsmen deliberately bowling bouncers and hurting people. When I want to scare, I don't need to say anything. My ball can talk for itself.
Aggression has many meanings. You can be calm and still be aggressive. You have to understand who you are as an individual. You can't copy anyone. You have to find what works for you. You can't pretend to be aggressive, because you'll end up getting caught.
always believe in yourself It is not my job to decide whether I am the best bowler in the world or not. Even when I started, I thought I was very good. If I don't believe in myself, why should anyone else? From the beginning I was confident that I was good. Even when I was a child, I wanted to make my team win.
It's okay even if there is no praise When I started, I wanted people to praise and like me. After a few years, I realized that you cannot please everyone. I don't take anything seriously. Only my game and my family matter to me. Today people are praising, it is good. Even if I don't do it tomorrow, it won't matter to me. (Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in various interviews)
