Lord Vishnu became the servant of King Bali who performed yajna and donations, he was respected everywhere. The fame of those who perform yajna and charity spreads in all four directions. Donating does not mean that we donate everything we have. We should donate small things according to our capacity for the welfare of the society. Along with donating money, donate education to children who are poor, gift them educational material. We can also donate good values, scriptures and knowledge to people.
