The next day i.e. on the date of Dwadashi (26 January), the needy are served food, after making charity, the fast is completed. After this, devotees take food.

Use sesame in bathing, havan and food. Those who fast should keep their mind calm, avoid negative thoughts, anger, lies. Do not afford home. If you meditate while chanting the mantras of God, then negativity will remain away. On this day, do special consecration of Balgopal. Offer Makhan-Mishri to Shri Krishna. Donate money to take care of cows in a cowshed. Feed green grass to cows. Feed flour bullets to fish in a pond. Anoint Lord Shiva. Light a lamp in front of Hanuman ji and recite Hanuman Chalisa. Also worship Shani Dev.
