Perform worship as per zodiac sign on Sarvapitri Moksha Amavasya: Solar eclipse of October 2 will not be visible in India; Know what things should be kept in mind while performing Shraddha of ancestors

The last date of Pitru Paksha will be Wednesday, October 2. It is called Sarvapitri Moksha Amavasya. Solar eclipse is also taking place on Amavasya, but this eclipse will not be visible in India, hence there will be no Sutak. Will be able to perform religious activities without any hindrance throughout the day.

According to Ujjain's astrologer Pt. Manish Sharma, one must perform incense-meditation for the ancestors on the Amavasya of Pitru Paksha, because the Shraddha performed on this Amavasya can yield more virtue than the Shraddha rituals performed during the entire Pitru Paksha. On this day, incense-meditation is done for all the ancestors, knowingly or unknowingly, of many generations. This year, for the dead people for whom you have forgotten to perform Shraddha during Pitru Paksha, you can perform Shraddha only on Amavasya.

When and where will the solar eclipse be visible

According to www.timeanddate.com, according to Indian time, the solar eclipse will start at 9.13 pm on October 2 and will end at 3.17 midnight. This eclipse will make a total solar eclipse visible in Argentina and Chile. Apart from these countries, partial solar eclipse will be visible in many countries including Antarctica, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, America. There will be night during the eclipse in the countries around India, the solar eclipse will not be visible here.
