Ganesh Utsav is going on right now and special worship of Ganesh ji is done these days. Be it Ganesh Puja or worship of any other deity or any other religious activity, first of all the symbol of Ganesh ji Swastika is made. It is believed that if any work is started by making Swastika, then that work gets completed without any obstacle. Know what things should be kept in mind while making Swastika…
According to Ujjain's astrologer Pt. Manish Sharma, the word Swastika is made up of Su and Asti. Su means auspicious and Asti means to be. This word means that everything should be auspicious.
Swastika is a symbol of positivity
The symbol of Swastika is formed by the positive sign (+) of mathematics, it is a symbol of positivity. The four lines of Swastika are the symbol of the four Purusharthas (purposes), Artha (wealth), Dharma (righteousness), Kama (desire) and Moksha (liberation). These lines represent the four Ashramas (rest houses), four Lokas (worlds) and four Yugas (eras) of our life.
Keep these things in mind while making Swastik
One should never draw an inverted Swastika at home. An inverted Swastika can be drawn in temples outside the home. Actually, an inverted Swastika is drawn for some wish and when the wish is fulfilled, a straight Swastika is drawn in the same temple.
While making Swastik, also keep in mind its beauty. Swastik should look clean, clear and beautiful. We should avoid making a crooked Swastik. Our attention may get diverted during worship due to unclear and crooked Swastik.
With the desire to maintain purity in the house, many people make a swastika of cow dung outside the house.
Swastika can be made with turmeric, kumkum or vermillion during puja.
Vaastu believes that by making a Swastika on the main door of the house, negative energy does not enter the house. Positivity remains in the house.
Keep these things in mind while worshiping Ganesh Ji
During Ganesh Puja, one should see the Lord from the front only. Do not see the back of Ganesh Ji, because poverty resides on the back of the Lord. Brahmaloka is on Ganesh Ji's forehead, religion on the trunk, knowledge of Vedas on the ears, Vara i.e. blessing in the right hand, goad to stop the evils in the other right hand, food in the left hand, lotus i.e. purity in the other left hand, happiness and prosperity in the stomach, universe on the navel, love in the eyes, all the seven worlds reside in the feet. Seeing the back increases poverty in the house. If you see Ganesh Ji from the front, then you get the blessings of God.
