Yesterday's big news was related to GST. The government has collected Rs 1.87 lakh crore from Goods and Services Tax, i.e. GST, in October 2024. There has been an increase of 9% on annual basis. At the same time, in October, 1,658 crore transactions were done through UPI (Unified Payment Interface). During this period an amount of Rs 23.50 lakh crore was transferred. The number of transactions has increased by 45% compared to October last year.

2. A new record of transactions through UPI was created in the festive season: 1,658 crore transactions were done, ₹ 23.50 lakh crore was transferred.

In October, 1,658 crore transactions were done through UPI (Unified Payment Interface). During this period an amount of Rs 23.50 lakh crore was transferred. The number of transactions has increased by 45% compared to October last year.

UPI was launched in April 2016. This is the highest and biggest transaction done in a single month since then. In October 2023, 1,141 crore transactions were done through UPI and an amount of Rs 17.16 lakh crore was transferred through it.

4. OpenAI's new search engine ChatGPT Search launched: New feature will compete with Google, it will be easy to find accurate information.

Tim Cook said- iPhone sales have increased in every region, which has set new records globally. Record high revenue has also been recorded in India.

Cook said that Apple recorded $94.9 billion in revenue globally in the September quarter, which is 6% more than last year.
