Hyundai Alcazar facelift interior design revealed: SUV will get over 70 safety features with Level-2 ADAS, expected price ₹ 17 lakh

Hyundai Motor India has revealed the interior of the upcoming mid-size SUV Alcazar facelift. Hyundai is preparing to launch the car on September 9. It will be offered in four variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The SUV will get more than 70 safety features including Level-2 ADAS.

The company has already started booking the car. You can book it by paying token money of Rs 25,000. The starting price of the car can be Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, Hyundai Alcazar will compete with Mahindra XUV700 three row variant, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.

Interior: 10.25 inch dual display will be available
In the cabin, the dashboard layout of the Alcazar is similar to that of the Creta. Its central AC vents are now thinner and are placed below the touchscreen unit. The side AC vents are placed in a horizontal shape. The car will get many premium features like front ventilated seats and dual-camera dash cam setup.

The car has dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. Its center console is also similar to the Hyundai Creta. Hyundai has provided a 12-watt power socket and USB port along with a wireless phone charger for the front passenger. The new Alcazar will get new seat upholstery with a new tan and blue cabin theme.

The second row has a fixed center armrest and two captain seats (in 6 seater version) and individual armrests. It has sunshades for both windows, fold-out trays and flip-out cup holders. The second row passengers will also get wing-shaped headrests with captain seats, rear AC vents, wireless phone charger and two USB ports.

According to the new photo, Hyundai Alcazar will have ventilation function in the front and second row seats. It also has Bose mode (in 6 seater version) to create more legroom for the second row passenger by sliding the co-driver seat forward. The 7 seater version will have a tumble-down feature on the second row seat to access the third row. Both its front seats have 8 power adjustments, while the driver seat has two level memory saving function.

Exterior: New split LED headlights and connected LED DRL's
Hyundai has shared car images on social media platform X. The biggest feature of the new Alcazar is its new design, which is inspired by the Creta. The front of the SUV now features a bold front grille with H-shaped LED DRLs, which is accompanied by quad-beam LED headlights.

The car also gets major changes at the rear, which includes new connected LED tail lamps, a new design tailgate and an updated bumper with a skid plate. On the sides, new diamond-cut alloy wheels with black-painted wheel arches and roof rails are seen on top.

Performance: Two engine options will be available
The new Alcazar can be offered with the same engine options as the Hyundai Creta. It will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that generates 160hp of power and 253nm of torque. For transmission, it will get the option of a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT gearbox.

At the same time, a 1.5-liter diesel engine will also be available, which generates 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque. For transmission, the engine will have the option of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT gearbox.

More than 70 connected car features will be available
The SUV will get over 70 connected car features, including an air purifier with AQI display, an 8-speaker Bose premium sound system and wireless charging ports for all rows. The recently released teaser shows the car has a panoramic sunroof with voice control, push button start-stop, dual-zone AC, paddle shifters.

Safety: More than 70 features including Level-2 ADAS will be available
For safety, Hyundai will offer Level 2 ADAS in some variants of the Alcazar, which will include 19 safety technologies including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), surround-view monitor, forward collision warning via front camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, all-wheel disc brakes in the Creta.
Overall, the car will get more than 70 safety features. Apart from this, safety features like 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with reminder for all passengers, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mount will also be available as standard in the car.
