Famous Punjabi singer Hardi Sandhu had a live concert in Sector-34.
The Chandigarh police stopped the live concert of Punjabi singer Hardy Sandhu in Sector-34 on Saturday evening. Police were informed that permission has not been taken from the administration for the show. Police team under the leadership of DSP Jaswinder Singh at 5:30 pm

The police took Hardy Sandhu to the side for questioning. This angered the fans present there. The police told the show's organizer that they had received information that the show's permission has not been taken. After hearing this, the organizer told the police team that they had taken permission from the administration regarding the program.
He also showed the police permission letter. After which the police team returned and the live concert resumed. However, it was not told by the police on whose side they had received information about the absence of the concert.
Diljit Dosanjh also had a live concert in Sector-34 on 14 December.
There was a dispute on Diljit's concert There was also a dispute before the live concert of Diljit Dosanjh held in Sector-34 on 14 December 2024. Ranjit Singh, a resident of Sector-23, demanded the cancellation of the concert. He had said in the petition that Diljit's show would collapse the traffic system in the city. However, the High Court later granted permission to the concert by 10 pm.
After the show, a status report was filed in the High Court by the administration. In which the administration had told the court that the voice level during the concert was found to be higher than the fixed limit. The voice should not have gone above 75 decibels (DB), but the voice reached 82 decibels during the concert. On this, the High Court had summoned the answers from the organizers.
