Those who observe Ekadashi fast, they follow the rules of fast from the evening of Dashami. Eat satvic food on the evening of Dashami Tithi and follow celibacy. Worship Lord Vishnu in the evening. A person observing the fast should avoid irreligious works, otherwise the Ekadashi fast does not get full virtue. Wake up early in the morning of Akadashi and offer water to the sun after bathing. Worship Lord Ganesha in the temple of the house. Pledge to worship Lord Vishnu in worship and to fast Ekadashi. Install Lord Vishnu and Mahalakshmi idols. Anoint God with water, milk, Panchamrit. Offer seasonal fruits. Read Vishnu Sahasranama, Bhagavad Gita or Vishnu Chalisa. In the puja, you should chant the mantra of the Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya. After worship, you should remain unmatched throughout the day, if it is difficult to stay hungry, you can do fruits. You can drink fruit juice and milk. Worship Vishnu-Lakshmi and Tulsi on the evening of Ekadashi, light a lamp near Tulsi. Wake up early in the morning on the next day i.e. Dwadashi date. Worship Lord Vishnu. Provide food to the needy people and give donations. After this, take food yourself. In this way Ekadashi fast is completed.
