1. Australian cricketer Marcus Stoynis retired from ODI
Australian cricketer Marcus Stoynis has retired from ODI cricket just before the Champions Trophy on 6 February. Stonis will no longer participate in the Champions Trophy. However, Stoynis will continue to play with Australia's team in T20 cricket.
Durban was part of the Super Gynts team in the ongoing SA20 League in South Africa, but became a victim of hamstring injury in the last match. He has been a part of the Australian team that won the ODI World Cup in 2023. The Australian all -rounder made his debut in 2015, after which he played 71 ODIs.
Stoynis performed her career's best by playing an unbeaten innings of 146 against New Zealand in Auckland in 2017.
2. India will get the fourth squadron of S-400 in 2025
India can get the fourth squadron of the S-400 air defense system by the end of the year 2025. By December 2025, the S-400 squadron (fourth) will come to India. At the same time, the fifth and final squadron is expected to be found in 2026.
In 2018, a deal of 35 thousand crores was finalized between India and Russia for five S-400 Squadron. Out of this, 3 squadrons are deployed on China and Pakistan border, while 2 are yet to come.
The S-400 squadron consists of 16 vehicles, including launcher, radar, control center and assistant vehicles.
