Ola Electric has launched its first electric bike Roadster X in the Indian market today (February 05). The company making electric two-wheelers has introduced two models of bikes- Roadster X and Roadster X+. Ola claims that the top variant of Roadster X+ will get a range of 501km. In addition, it will get features such as geo fencing, anti theft alarm and traction control.
Roadster X has been launched with three and Roadster X+ with two separate battery pack options. That is, both models have been introduced in a total of 5 variants with different battery packs. The ex-showroom price of the initial variant of Roadster X has been kept at Rs 89,999 lakh, but under the launch offer it can be purchased in 74,999. The price of its top variant goes up to 1.09 lakh rupees.
At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the initial variant of Roadster X+ has been kept at Rs 1,19,999 lakh, but under the launch offer it can be purchased in 1,04,999. Its top variant is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh. The company has started booking all the bikes and their delivery will start from March 2025.
Ola Roadster X Range Obane will compete with affordable electric bikes like Oz, Revolt RV1, Revolt RV400 BRZ and Pure EV Ecodrift. At the same time, Roadster X+ will compete with more premium electric bikes like Obone Ror, Revolt RV400 and Matter Era.
