IT minister Ashwini Vaishnav met CEO Sam Altman of OpenAI and discussed India's strategy to make AI Stack – GPU, model and apps. Vaishnav gave this information on his X handle today i.e. Wednesday (February 5).
He wrote, 'Altman GPU, model and app are interested in collaboration with India on all three. Open AI's CEO praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's perspective of the Democratization of Technology.
Vaishnav also described the low cost of Chandrayaan 3 mission and the story that succeeded at a time. He said why we can't make a model that costs much lower than other countries. Innovation can reduce this cost.
Altman has come to India at a time when Dominance is getting China's challenge in the field of Open AI. Dipcic is attracting everyone's attention with its low -cost AI model R1.
