Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh inaugurated the handloom conference 'Handloom Conclave: Manthan' at Dr. Ambedkar International Center in Janpath on 28 January. The ministry will prepare a model for the handloom industry, in which handloom weavers will get a minimum of 300 days permanent employment a year. Handloom Conclave is being organized to share the best practices and innovations for the development of the handloom sector.
On this occasion, Giriraj Singh launched the online module for handloom weaver e-hachan portal and handloom awards.

1. Academic Year 2026-27 will be one year old.
The new Academic Session 2026-27 will change the two-year MED (Master of Education) course to one year. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has taken this decision. After the recent NCTE's decision, the BED was also announced to be one year old.
This decision has been taken under the National Education Policy 2020. According to NCTE chairman Pankaj Arora, one -year -old candidates performing two -year -old teacher education courses and four -year -old integrated candidates can take admission in M.Ed.
According to reports, NCTE is preparing a new syllabus for this and the institutes have been sought for this. This course will start from 2026-27. The process of admission in this is not yet decided. Currently, an admission in the four -year integrated teacher education course is done through the entrance exam. This exam conducts the National Testing Agency i.e. NTA.
2. MP Board issued admit cards of 10th-12th
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has issued admit cards for the 10th-12th board exam of 2025. Schools can download the admit card from mpbse.mponline.gov.in. Students have to contact their school for the admit card. The 12th exam of MP Board will be from 25 February to 25 March. At the same time, the 10th exam will be from 27 February to 21 March.
