The last date to apply for All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025 is today i.e. 13 January 2025. Students who pass this entrance can take admission in class 6th and 9th. Students can apply by visiting the official website of NTA exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE. These applications started from 24 December 2024.
Important dates related to AISSEE
Age Limit:
Class 6th: Must be between 10-12 years before 31st March 2025.
Class 9th: Must be between 13-15 years before 31st March 2025.
Fees:
General/OBC/Defence/Ex-Serviceman: Rs 800 ST/SC: Rs 650
There will be a 150 minute paper in the Class 6 exam in Sainik School. There will be a 180-minute paper in class 9 entrance. There will be 300 marks exam in class 6th and 400 marks exam in class 9th. Minimum marks should be 25% in each section and aggregate marks should be 40%.
NTA will release exam dates soon
NTA had first said in its notification that the exam would be held on January 19. After that NTA issued a customized notification saying that the exam date will be declared soon on the official Website. Through this exam, admission will be done in all 39 schools of the country for class 6th and in 17 schools for class 9th.

JEE Advanced attempts will not increase: Supreme Court rejects the petition to increase the attempts from 2 to 3.
The Supreme Court today rejected the petition to increase the number of attempts for JEE Advanced exam from 2 to 3. The court said that the court will uphold the decision of the Joint Admission Board i.e. JAB.
