A woman was killed in a stampede at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the screening of Pushpa-2, while her 9-year-old son Sritej was seriously injured. On Tuesday, Allu Arjun left home to meet the injured child.
Injured child Shretej was admitted to KIMS hospital after the stampede on December 4. Before the actor, his father Allu Arvind had met the injured child on December 18. Allu provided financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the victim's family.

Nampally court grants bail to Allu
Actor Allu Arjun was granted bail on Friday in the case of woman's death in stampede during the screening of Pushpa-2. Hyderabad's Nampally Court had granted regular bail to Allu.
Allu Arjun's lawyer Ashok Reddy said that the Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge asked Allu to present two sureties, who will furnish two bail bonds of Rs 50,000 each. Also, Allu was directed to appear before the investigating officer on Sunday.
Were arrested on 13th December
Allu Arjun was arrested in this case at 12 noon on 13 December. After his arrest, he was produced in the local court at 4 o'clock, from where he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Allu had appealed to the Telangana High Court for interim bail. After this, at 5 pm, he was granted interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50 thousand. Meanwhile, Allu was taken to Chanchalguda Central Jail.
The actor was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail the next day at around 6.30 am on Saturday. During this period, Allu remained in custody for about 18 hours.

After the release, Allu Arjun said in a press conference, 'This was all an accident. I went to the theater with my family to watch a movie. This incident happened outside. This incident has no direct connection with me. I am absolutely with the woman's family, I will help them in whatever way possible.' Allu Arjun further said, 'I have visited that cinema hall more than 30 times in the last 20 years. But this has not happened till date. This has happened absolutely unfortunately. I am very sorry about this incident.
