Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma's father-son film Vanvas is releasing on 20th December.
Vanvas, a film based on father-son relationship, will be released on December 20. It has been directed by Anil Sharma. Anil had made a blockbuster film like Gadar-2 last year. Nana Patekar and Anil's son actor Utkarsh Sharma are in lead roles in the film Vanvas. Before the release of the film, Anil Sharma and Utkarsh Sharma had a special conversation with Dainik Global News Daily.
Director Anil Sharma said that he had made the film 'Apne'. The titular track of the film was – Apne To Apne Hote Hain. Today, after so many years, exile has been created. The trailer of the film showed how people send their own people into exile. Anil said that how much the attitude of the society changed in the journey from the film 'Apne' to making 'Vanvas'.
Question- Anil ji, why did you want Nana Patekar for your film? answer- For this film, I wanted a character who had experience of living life. The character was very complex, for this I found no one better than Nana Sir. Not to play the character, but to live it.
Nana sir has lived and not played characters throughout his career. I can say with certainty that today's generation will be shocked after watching this film. He would be very happy to see that a personality like Nana Sir is among us.
Nana Patekar has been active in the film industry since 1978.
Question- Utkarsh, you have worked with big artists since childhood, now tell us about your experience with Nana? answer- I consider myself lucky that I got a chance to work with Nana sir. Meeting him was a fan boy moment for me.
Nana Sir always emphasizes that all the actors of the film should do their work better. He gives the example of batting partnership. Nana Sir says that if only one batsman scores a century on the pitch and all the other batsmen do not score runs then the team will not be able to win.

Question- It is said that Nana ji is a bit strict, so Utkarsh, were you not afraid to work with him? answer- Don't know who are those people who call Nana sir strict. Nothing like this happened to me. We both lived like friends on the set.
Nana also replied to this question and said- Utkarsh had two fathers on the sets of the film. One is Anil Sharma and the other is me.
