A case of kidnapping of comedian Sunil Pal has been registered against Lavi and his accomplices in Meerut. A case of kidnapping of actor Mushtaq Khan has been registered against Lavi and his associates in Bijnor. Meerut Police has sent Lavi's associate Arjun to jail in this case after he was arrested in a police encounter. Bijnor police has also arrested 4 associates of Lavi.
Sunil Pal
According to comedian Sunil Pal, a young man named Anil called and introduced himself as the director of an event company. Asked to come to an event in Haridwar. Some amount was also transferred for this. On December 2, Sunil Pal reached Delhi from Mumbai by flight. Sunil Pal was kidnapped between Delhi and Meerut. Kidnappers brought Sunil Pal to Meerut. He was blindfolded and kept in Meerut.
On December 3, the miscreants asked for Rs 8 lakh ransom online. After getting the money, the miscreants gave me Rs 20 thousand for the flight ticket. After this they left me in Lalkurti police station area.
With the ransom money, the criminals bought jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh from Akash Ganga Jewelers in Begumpul and jewelery worth Rs 2.25 lakh from Akshit Singhal's shop in Jawahar Quarter. Bills were made in the name of Sunil Pal at both the places. A copy of Sunil Pal's Aadhar card and PAN card was also given.

Lavi's partner Arjun was arrested by the police on Saturday night. The police had recovered the Scorpio car used in the kidnap, Rs 2 lakh and the mobile used in ransom from him.

These people boarded the Scorpio from Jain Shikanji restaurant on the Delhi border. He was kidnapped and kept in a house in Mohalla Chahshiri of Bijnor.

Mushtaq Khan told that he was held hostage in Lavi's house. It was morning after hearing Azaan in the mosque. He gathered courage and came out of the house free from bondage. We met a tempo driver on the way, who told us the way to the mosque. Reached there and people helped me.
Reached my friend's house in Ghaziabad on 21st November. Reached Mumbai again on 22nd November. The miscreants searched for him in Bijnor for two days. While narrating the incident to the police, Mushtaq had tears in his eyes. Bijnor Police has sent 4 accused to jail in this case.
5 accused have been arrested
So far 5 accused have been arrested in the kidnap of Sunil Pal and Mushtaq Khan. Bijnor police has arrested 4 accused Sarthak Chaudhary alias Ricky, Sabiuddin alias Sambi, Azim and Shashank Kumar. Meerut Police has arrested one accused Arjun Karnawal.
